Make-up Workshop for Consumers

Would you like to look younger longer and have people notice you instead of your flaws? A good foundation will cover imperfections that would otherwise be distracting and take attention away from the message you are delivering. The right colors will enhance your natural beauty, bring attention directly to your eyes and give you more credibility. Let others know that you care enough about them to take good care of you!

Linda loves teaching women how to look more natural wearing make-up and she wants to get her hands on you! Join her and the company of other wonderful women as she shares her step-by-step method to make any woman look and feel better with make-up.

You are the perfect candidate for this workshop if you:

Learn how to select the best foundation for your client based on her needs and preferences. Discover which foundation is best for men and how to present this option to your male clients.

Through demos and hands-on practice, you'll master selecting the best colors for clients, application and blending techniques. From barely there to make-up Diva, you will learn how to make any amount of make-up look natural.

Whether you're new or experienced at selling make-up, you'll leave this two-day workshop with improved technique and greater confidence in working with clients.

You will learn:

• Color theory including how to select the best colors based on your clients natural coloring
• Proven techniques using various types of foundation to match skin tone
• Two days of demonstrations and hands-on training
• Techniques used in Bridal and Photography make-up
• How to question your client to discover her preferences and comfort level
• How to apply shadow on different eye shapes
• A step-by-step method to applying make-up that works on anyone

Esthetician, Reiki master, educator, Linda Bertaut uses make-up and image as vehicles to self-discovery and increased self-esteem. Called an “identity expert” by her peers, she gets to the core of people’s identities and helps them define themselves. The result is transformation from the inside out.

As a Reiki master, Linda combines her intuitive, healing skills with her artistic skills specializing in bringing inner beauty to the surface. Today, as the founder of Face Options Cosmetics and Petal Potions, an herbal products line, and Bertaut Seminars, she helps women look and feel their best.

Linda has won the Image Industry Council International’s Award of Excellence and two awards for professional make-up artistry. Her experience includes launching Laura Mercier at Macy’s Union Square, The Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon, managing the personal shopping division for Macy’s by Appointment in Northern California, teaching advanced esthetics and her own image consulting and make-up business.
